Chi-Cheemaun has made it back to base even with only one alternator . Next thing is to bend double down by the engine and remove the alternator ready for Monday and then take it to C.J.F at Hednesford for repair .I must be the unlucky one when it comes to alternators as they only seem to last about a year. I must check and see if there is a reason for my bad luck. So now we will spend some time at our mooring during the winter.

It was me on Nutcracker!
I had the chance of a one way trip on an Alvechurch boat which they wanted delivered to Gayton to be sold(a super cheap trip!) and grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
I was with my son and mother, so a good age spread on board. My son was scathing about me commenting on boats seen belonging to bloggers, and I think my comment to you almost sent him over the edge! I saw several other blogging boats (Hadar, Kayamanzi, Sanity, Ten Bob Note for eg)but no other bloggers.
Hope all is now well with the alternator.
