Chi-Cheemaun sold

Hi fellow boaters we have now sold our boat and moved on to land and now getting used to the room not rocking and I don't have to empty the loo and get in coal and gas . Ive no doubt we will miss it for a while but we can now sit in the lounge and watch all the boaters doing the locks at Atherstone. Chi-Cheemaun is now for sale at Norbury Wharf .

The end of our cruising years.

Hi fellow boaters at last we have made the ultimate decision to leave the waterways and return to a land base. All we have to do now is move off the boat after 21 years of living on board so all we have is sell our boat . Its been a good time and we have met many great people over the years may be we will some of them on our walks along the canal at Atherstone .

Winter 2010

Well its me again defrosted at last well until next week when the cold and snow is due to return so we will open the fire up and try and keep warm once again.

Thank goodness for the Morco squirrel fire and the back boiler which helps to keep out the cold providing we keep it stoked up .

Atlast we will be mooving

Yes we are moving from Fazeley to the Staffs and Worcester canal maybe that will make B.W.B enforcement officers happy but not for long they will still keep hounding us boaters who pay our licence and their wages.

More work than cruising

Yes it's that blogger again not a lot of cruising just many jobs to do and now I have to fit a new Morco water heater . The old Paloma has now had its day but to replace it requires a new flue and of cause the pipe does not match up so not just a straight forward job but nothing ever is on a boat .
